The monitors view for a small fleet.

Why

You find out a server is down when something you use stops working. Monitoring usually means a hosted service you do not control, or scripts you stop trusting. Orion watches your servers and services so you hear about it first.

What it does

Agents report to the Core, and the web console shows what is up, what is slow and what changed. Alerts are plain text first and only escalate when something stays wrong.

Under the hood

Each machine runs a tiny agent. The Core collects what the agents report and serves the console.

Where it is at

Released, and in daily use on our own home lab.
