Why
Paperwork arrives as scans and phone photos, often in a language you do not read well, and none of it is searchable. The contract from three years ago is on a laptop, called scan0042. Drive is for organising, translating and managing those files, on your own machine.
What it does
Drive reads each scan, translates it if needed and files it. Everything is searchable. When it is not sure, it marks the document Needs you and asks. Words it gets wrong can be taught once and are remembered.

Under the hood
A server on your own machine does the reading and translating. The web app is the review screen, where you confirm the few things it is unsure about. The paperwork does not leave the house.
Where it is at
Late beta, in daily use at home. Private until the first public release.
